Clonmel’s Daire Lynch wins bronze at European Rowing Championships

Clonmel’s Daire Lynch has won a bronze medal at the European Rowing Championships in Poland.

Daire was alongside Cork teammate Ronan Byrne in the Men’s Double Skulls A final in Poland this morning. The duo won a gold medal in the European Under 23s last month.

Sanita Puspure has successfully defended the Women’s Single Sculls title, while Fintan McCarthy has also collected bronze for Ireland in the Lightweight Men’s Single Sculls final. The Women’s Four team of Aifric Keogh, Eimear Lambe, Aileen Crowley and Fiona Murtagh also finished in third place.
