Carrick on Suir's Sam Bennett has been selected on the Irish team for the World Championships in Italy.
The An Post Chain Reaction rider will join Grand Tour stage winners Dan Martin and Nicolas Roche together with 4-time Irish road race champion Matt Brammier.
22 year old Bennett notched up another good result on yesterdays 4th stage of the Tour of Britain taking 10th behind winner Mark Cavendish.
Today's 110 mile route takes the riders through Wales from Machynlleth to Caerphilly.
