Sam Bennett’s ended the longest stage of this year’s Tour de France with a 66-point lead over Peter Sagan in the green jersey contest.
The Slovak sprinter pegged just two points off Bennett’s lead today.
The stage was won by Marc Hirshci, with his Sunweb teammate Nicolas Roche in tenth. Primoz Roglic retains the overall leader’s yellow jersey.
