Tipp senior hurler John “Bubbles” O'Dwyer is to have a scan tomorrow to determine the extent of the hand injury he picked up in Sundays league semi-final defeat to Waterford.
The All-Star was substituted early in the second half with what manager Eamon O'Shea later said was a suspected broken finger.
The Killenaule man is expected to be out for a number weeks but he's unlikely to miss Tipp's Munster championship opener on June 21st.
