Ryan expects tough contest from Waterford

Tipperary's senior hurling manager has said he is expecting a tough battle against Waterford in the Munster final.

The Premier County will face off against the Deise in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on the 10th of July.

Michael Ryan's men booked their place in the provincial decider with a win over Limerick at the weekend…despite being reduced to 14 men for the majority of the match

Tipp and Waterford are familar foes…having met at the same stage in last year's competition….Tipperary came out on top in that encounter…21 points to 16.

Michael Ryan says his side will have their work cut out for them in three weeks time.
