The jury at the trial of a man charged with the murder of Timothy ‘Teddy’ Murnane in Tipperary Town has started its deliberations.
32-year-old Sean Harding of Marian Terrace in the town has pleaded not guilty to murder, but guilty to the manslaughter of the 80-year-old on the 12th of September 2025.

The trial at the Central Criminal Court in Cork previously heard the accused told Gardaí he broke into Mr Murnane’s shed to steal tools, and had pushed him, but did not hit him.
