Warning about water meter scam artists

While workers for Irish Water are currently installing water meters in Kildare, rthey won't be working in Tipperary until next year.

Two people called on homes on the Tipperary-Waterford border in recent days, claiming to be Irish Water meter installers.

That claim is false, according to Noel Shannon Regional Communications Manager with the company.

He is urging householders not to allow anyone into their homes without proper identification.
