Tipperary welcomes its first baby of 2013!..

Tipperary's first baby of 2013 was born this morning.

Sineid Walsh from Killenaule welcomed baby Jack in to
the world at 5.58 this morning, making him Tipperary's
first baby of the New Year.

Mother and baby are recovering well in hospital.
 

The first baby of 2013 was born at the MidWestern Regional Maternity
Hospital in Limerick in the very early hours of this morning –
at less than a minute past midnight.

In Cork, Christine Casey from Carrigtwohill gave birth to her little
girl Lexi a short time later at 3 minutes past 12.
