A Tipperary T.D. is criticising the system used to decide where e-voting machines
were stored for North and South Tipperary between 2004 and 2007.

Independent T.D. Mattie Mc Grath said today that the system needs to be changed
so that normal tendering procedures are followed in cases like this in future.

Speaking on Tipp Today, deputy Mc Grath, while stressing that there was no suggestion
of any wrongdoing, outlined the reasons for his concern.

He said he was more than surprised when he found out where the Tipperary machines
were stored and who owned the premises.
