Gardaí are urging road users to take care when travelling across Tipperary,
after more bad weather has been forecast.

This morning there is excess surface water on most roads, with roads
around Thurles and Templemore said to be particularly bad.

Met Éireann is once again predicting heavy rain across the country
– with spot flooding likely in many areas.

And Gardaí say drivers in wet weather should be aware of others
on the road and keep a safe distance between cars in front.

Meanwhile in Limerick, the County Council say they've been forced to
respond to a number of flooding incidents over the past 24 hours
as a result of the severe weather.

They're warning residents that water supplies in some areas may be affected.
