Tipperary club championships in full swing

In the West championship Clonoulty Rossmore v Cappawhite in Pairce Ciocaim at 7.30 while in the mid Tipperary championship reigning county champions Thurles Sarsfields take on the county Intermediate champions Moyne-Templetuohy in Templemore at 7.30 in Templemore.

Yesterday there was three games played in North Tipp Championship when Ballina beat Kilruane McDonaghs 2-17 to 2-14 in the early game with Michael Breen playing an important role for Ballina while Silvermines beat Borrisokane 5-21 to 1-16 with Jason Forde to the fore in that one.

Portroe were also victors, beating their keen rivals Burgess on a scoreline of 2-16 to 0-18.

In the County Senior hurling championship Killenaule beat Lorrha 1-23 to 2-16 and Lorrha were without Patrick Bonner Maher for that one. In the other evening game JK Bracken were convincing 1-16 to 0-12 winners over Carrick Swans.
