The ongoing problems with the student maintenance grant scheme is causing major hardship

for many students on the Tipperary campuses at LIT.

The new system – SUSI – was set up by the Government last year to administer a centralised

grant scheme.

However thousands of students across the country who applied last August are still waiting

for their money.
