The Tipperaryman had been included in the Irish show jumping squad for the London Olympics
The latest news follows the disqualification of Denis Lynch's horse Lantinus from the Aachen horse
show at the weekend on the grounds that the animal was tested positive for hypersensivity in his legs.
In a statement Denis Lynch had stressed that the gelding had a slight wound on the near
foreleg and an abrasion on the off hind leg after lowering 3 fences on Thursday.
He added that at no stage was there any inference that the hypersensivity
was anything other than natural.
Despite this, Horse Sport Ireland has now asked Show Jumping Team Manager Robert
Splaine to put forward another combination from amongst his list of reserves.
