Tipp Deputy criticises ‘haste’ of abortion debate.

A Tipperary Deputy has criticised the speed at which the Government
is dealing with hearings on proposed abortion legislation.

Although the Government has been condemned globally for its failure
to legislate for the x case since 1992,
Tipperary Deputy Mattie McGrath says he is concerned at the 'indecent haste',
with which the committee set up to make recommendations on legislation
is proceding.

They will hear from a number of experts on the issue, as part of
a 3 day hearing which begins on monday.
