Businesses in Tipperary are facing hikes in their rates.

Clonmel-based Councillor Michael Murphy says when all of
Tipperary is administered by a single rating authority,
it's going to result in rate increases for most of the seven town council areas.
Cllr.Murphy says this will impose a harsh burden on already struggling businesses:
