Subjects being cut in schools due to lack of teachers.

Cutbacks in the pupil-teacher ratio in recent years is impacting on key subjects.

That's according to a Tipperary based member of the ASTI Executive
who says anything up to 100 periods a week have been lost to schools.

Noel Buckley is a teacher at the Presentation Secondary School in Clonmel.

He says since 2009 every school has lost the equivelant of two to three teachers.
