There were just 6 patients on trolleys awaiting admission this morning,
according to the I.N.M.O.

This compares with 22 on trolleys at Limerick Regional and 5 at Waterford Regional Hospital.

Meanwhile, a visiting ban remains in place at the Clonmel Hospital, following an outbreak
of the Winter Vomiting bug.

Visiting to all wards is prohibited apart from  exceptional circumstances.

Cancer Services, Emergency Services and Outpatient Services will continue as normal.

The situation is being kept under daily review.
