Man is killed in Thurles crash

A man in his 60's has been killed in a road crash near Thurles.

The single car collision occured on the Ballingarry road out
of Killenaule just after 4.30 yesterday evening,
when the car the man was driving hit a wall.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for a time as investigations were carried
out, but has since reopened.
