Person illegally dumping rubbish in North Tipp caught red-handed

A person dumping rubbish illegally in North Tipperary has been caught red-handed.

This follows the discovery of a tonne of rubbish left outside the entrance to Lisheen wind farm
between Moyne and Templetuohy yesterday morning.

The name and address of a teacher from Thurles was found on letters in the rubbish heap.
A prosecution under the Litter Laws will follow.

Cllr John Hogan says people in the area are fed up of this illegal fly-tipping
and he is appealling for witnesses to come forward.
