People who did not receive certain welfare allowances yesterday
due to an error – will receive their payment this morning

Almost 33 thousand people did not receive their allowances yesterday-
due to a processing issue.
The Department of Social Protection says its confident a social
welfare payment error won't be repeated. The payments – which
include maternity benefit and jobseekers allowance – will be made this morning.
