More results from the Census show that 48.8% of people in
Tipperary, over the age of 15 are married.

The Census which was carried out in 2011, has revealed
that there were 42 thousand and 51 families in the County
on Census night.

The proportion of the population who are single is at 38.9%,
Divorced people account for 2.5% while 6.3% were widowed
in the County.

The Census also showed there were 14 thousand 594 people
living alone in Tipperary.
