Mattie McGrath has called on the Chairman of RTE to resign following
the libelling of Fr Kevin Reynolds.

RTE has also been called on to publish the legal advice given to the
makers of the Mission to Prey programme before it went to air.

The organisation's Director General Noel Curren said RTE would have
considered waiving its right to legal privildge if it were asked to do
so by the BAI.

RTE Chairman Tom Savage told the Committee that it remains
inexplicable to him as to why the programme was broadcast.

But the South Tipp TD said Mr Savage should step down as chairman in
light of what happened.
