Man killed in South Tipp crash

A man has been killed in a crash in South Tipperary.

The single vehicle collision occured at around half 3 this afternoon,
just off the New Inn Golden road, in an area known as
Lagginstown Lower.

The elderly man was the only occupant of the vehicle and was
pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is now closed for examination and is expected to
be closed for the evening.
