Man appears in court in connection with Cashel hostage drama.

The man at the center of this weeks hostage drama in Cashel,
has appeared in court.

30 year old Ger Brown, of no fixed abode, appeared before
Cashel District Court today, charged with a number of
offences stemming from Tuesdays incident.

Four staff members at O'Dwyers pharmacy at Ladyswell
street in Cashel, were held hostage for over 2 hours.

Mr Brown was only apprehended after members of The Regional
Support Unit, managed to bring him down, using a taser.

He has been remanded in custody to Limerick prison,
toappear before the courts again on July 4th.
