North Tipp TD Michael Lowry is celebrating as the value of a family
of race horses he has bred, quadrupled over the weekend.

There was a 163 thousand euro increase in the value of a young horse
he sold for 57 thousand, last December.

Although Michael Lowry did not benefit directly from the sale,
it sets a lucrative benchmark for all future foals of his.

Its good news for the Tipp TD, as weekend reports said that
he would be chased for an almost 50 thousand euro legal
bill, arising from his defamataion action against Sam Smyth.
