Local TD’s hit out at proposed cuts by HSE

South Tipperary Independent TD Mattie mcGrath has hit out at the HSE over proposed cuts in the Health Service.

Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore has described as 'regrettable', 130 million euro cuts by the HSE, including home help and personal assistants.

Deputy McGrath described hitting the  most vulnerable people in society  as outrageous.


Meanwhile Independent Deputy Seamus Healy is calling for an emergency meeting of the Oireachtas Health Committee to discuss the cuts.
