Lar Corbett has given his first interview since the semi final debacle,
by apologising to fans.

The Tipp forward told the Independant he held his hands up for not
performing against Kilkenny.

But he denied speculation of tactics to get Tommy Walsh sent off,
despite his well publicised pursuit of him on the field.

He also dismissed reports of any half time row in the dressing
and maintains that his late arrival on the pitch, was the result
of him taking longer than expected to cahnge his boots.

He also thanked fans for the support since the game, but
also described how he has been plagued with abusive
letters and phone calls.
