The Junior Transport Minister says the Justice Minister should still make a statement in the Dail to
explain his row with Mick Wallace.
Alan Shatter has found himself in hot water after revealing the Independent TD benefited from Garda
discretion by avoiding penalty points.
Yesterday Minister Shatter said he received the information at a Garda briefing and that he felt he
had a duty to make the disclosure.
But Alan Kelly says he should make a statement in the Dail as soon as he can – so the Government
can move on with more important work:
