A 21 year old Irish man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in
the neck in Perth in Western Australia.
Local media says he was injured in a brawl involving a number of
people yesterday, and is now in a critical condition in hospital.
A 30 year old man is due to face charges in connection with the knife
attack, in a Perth court.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's providing consular
assistance to the injured man's family.
