A Thurles Councillor has criticised the Governments stimulus package
which was announced yesterday,  detailing plans for a Primary Care
Center for the town.

Under the proposal, Thurles will recieve a Primary Care center,
which will house all of the towns GP's under one roof.

But that plan, which was announced with great fanfare yesterday,
is already in the works, accoring to Councillor Michail Lowry.

He says planning permission has already been granted for
such a facility, with another currently under construction.

He now wonders if Thurles will benefit at all from yesterdays announcement.
