Gardai warn of theft of fuel from machinery..

Agricultural contractors and farmers in Tipperary are being
warned by Gardai of attempts to steal diesel from machinery.

This is a very busy time for the agriculture industry with harvesting
machinery in almost constant use – combines could have up to a
thousand Euro worth of diesel in them.

Earlier this week an attempt was made to steal diesel from trucks
parked overnight in the Ard Gaoithe Business Park in Clonmel –
the would be thieves were disturbed by Gardai.
