Doubt has been cast on the gaurantee of coronary care beds
for Nenagh patients at the Mid West Regional Hospital
in Limerick.

A man from Nenagh, who was one of the first patients at this designated
unit, has told Tipp FM, that 2 other patients in the ward from not
from North Tipperary.

3 beds had been promised according to North Tipp Deputy Alan
Kelly and would be kept solely for Nenagh patients.

But a caller to Tipp Today this morning, who was one of the first patients to this new unit, said he was sharing the ward with a patient from Ennis and Limerick.

This would pour doubt on promises made that beds would be held specifically for Nenagh patients.
