Staff at Dawn Fresh Foods in Fethard are appealing to the company to show loyalty to its workers.
Last night representatives from the South Tipperary company met with Jobs Minister Richard Bruton in Dublin to outline what they say is the ongoing viability of the plant.
Last August the company announced it was shutting down production in Fethard due to a number of reasons including a decline in sales.
It's due to shut at the end of October but speaking to Tipp FM- worker representative Eugene McCormack says staff are disappointed and angry and are urging the owners to display the same loyalty that staff showed to the company over the years.
