The traffic warden in Carrick on Suir has been called before a
disciplinary panel.

The warden has been accused of writing inappropriate comments on
the ticket that she was forced to issue to a vehicle, belonging
to the Irish Blood Transfusion service.

She wrote the words, 'under duress' on the ticket and said she
was reluctant to issue the ticket, as the vehicle was being used
to take blood donations at the time.

Carrick on Suir Councillor Bobby Fitzgerald has described the latest
development as crazy and arrogant.
He said the actions shown by the warden were better than those
shown by the Town clerk.
