Carrick ticket written under duress..

It would appear the infamous parking ticket which has caused anger
across Carrick on Suir, was in fact written under duress.

A copy of the ticket, seen by Tipp FM news, shows that 'written
under duress' was written at the bottom of the ticket by the warden.

Although reluctant to issue the ticket, she was compelled to do so
by the Town clerk, according to local Councillor Bobby Fitzgerald.

He said that common sense should prevail in relation to the issuing of
tickets, and says that it follows on from a similar event recently,
where a bus carrying 42 American tourists was also issued with a parking ticket.
