The Minister for Enterprise, Jobs and Innovation has been urged to
attract multi-national investment in areas outside of Dublin.

Fine Gael Deputy Tom Hayes, says that towns in Tipperary
are being wrongly over looked

Speaking in the Dail last night, South Tipp Deputy Tom Hayes
said that towns like Tipperary, Cashel Clonmel, Carrick on Suir
and Thurles, should be considered when it comes to attracting multi national
investment.

He said rural areas can't continue to be overlooked, while
large urban centers continue to receive investment.

He said that more rural locations have more to offer,
with lower costs, better quality of life for employees and  also
better accessibility.

In response, Minister John Perry said that the Government is
committed to providing jobs in Tipperary, while also working
with the IDA to help create investment.
