Broad welcome to proposals for hotel at “The Rock”

Fresh proposals for a hotel development in the vicinity of the Rock of Cashel to boost tourist bed nights has been welcomed by local businesses.

It's one of several ideas put forward in a new 10 year economic plan for the South East published by the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.

The plan also highlights the importance of fast tracking improvements to the N24 as well as the further exploitation of the education possibilities through LIT.
