Bookmakers targeted in morning robbery.

Gardai are investigating a robbery at a book makers in
Cahir today.

A man entered the premises on Abbey street shortly
before noon and threatened staff.

He left with a sum of money and made his escape on a motorcycle
which was waiting outside.

They went in the direction of the Tipperary Road roundabout.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the vicinity at around
11.50 this morning, or encountered a motorcycle travelling at speed
in the general are at around that time, is being asked to contact
Cahir Garda station.
