Roscrea was cheapest for both fuel types with the Stop 'n Go on the old N7 and Grove Oil near Lidl both at 158.9 per litre for petrol and 147.9 for diesel.

The dearest for both was the Texaco station on the Mall in Templemore which was charging 166.9 per litre of petrol and 156.9 for diesel.

Generally fuel prices at all outlets in Roscrea were cheaper than elsewhere.

We will have the results of a similar price survey from South Tipperary tomorrow.
