Australian mine is threat to Coolmore stud farm

Coolmore stud, has warned it's Australian enterprise is under threat from plans to develop a nearby coal mine.
Authorities have granted a prospecting licence to develop a significent underground mine just 500 metres from Coolmore's farm in Hunter Valley, New South Wales.
The farm is home to some of the world's top horses.
The proposed  underground mine  goes right under the farms paddocks.
Horses are regularly sent from The Irish Stud in Co. Tipperary to Australia for several months each year.
There are  currently 135 people and their famalies living on the Australian farm which is managed by JP Magnier's son Tom.
Austrailia is in the middle of a mining bonanza, with the sector contributing 1.8 billion Australian dollars in mining royalties each year.
