4 Tipp schools to have prefab classrooms replaced.

4 Tipperary schools are among 77  across the country, who have been
given the green light today to replace their rented prefabs with permanent
classrooms.

Education Minister Ruairí Quinn has announced the first round of
approvals which will see 14 million euro spent on the building of
94 mainstream and 57 learning support classrooms.

In Tipperary, Scoil Eoin Naofa, Ardfinnan N.S, Scoil mo Chaomh óg
in Twomileborris and Grange NS, are set to benefit.

It's part of a 35 million euro Government initiative to replace one
third of all rented prefab classrooms this year.
