3 men appear in court in connection with Piltown drug seizure

Three Chinese nationals have been remanded in custody after
being charged in connection with the discovery of a over 3.5
millon euro drugs near Carrick on Suir.

57 year old Guotai Lin,  Lin Lin aged 40 and Cho Long He
aged 35 were brought before Youghal District Court today and
charged following the discovery of the cannabis growhouse in Piltown.

All three men are charged with possession, possession for sale
or supply and cultivation of cannabis at Kildalton, Piltown
, Co Kilkenny on May 2nd.

Judge Finn remanded all three men – whose addresses were given
as No Fixed Abode – to Cashel District Court next Thursday.
