Two schools in Tipperary are  set to benefit from extra classrooms.

This is after an announcement that both St. Mary’s CBS in
Clonmel and Ardfinnan National School will now provide new classes to
cater for children with special needs who can' t currently be educated in
a mainstream classroom.

South Tipperary Fine Gael TD Tom Hayes said these two new classes
will come onstream  this September.

It's part of a nationwide initiative to benefit  over 500 children in 88 schools.
