2 men are conitnuing to be questioned by Gardai this afternoon after
cannabis plans worth around 160 thousand euro,were seized in Thurles.
They were found when Gardai searched a premises at Moyne as
part of an on-going investigation into the cultivation and sale and
supply of cannabis in the Thurles area.
A 52 year old man was arrested at the scene and is currently being
questioned at Templemore Garda Station under Section 2 of the
Drug Trafficking Act .
In a follow-up operation a 32 year old man was arrested.
He's being detained at Thurles Garda Station also under Section 2,
of the Drug Trafficking Act.
