2 families in Carrick on Suir have thanked everyone who has helped
them, following a devastating fire during the week.

A fire broke out at a house on Oak drive in the town, late on Thursday
night.

The fire also took hold of a house next door.

Both homes were destroyed, but thankfully no one was injured.

2 families have been left homeless as a result, between them,
6 young children are also affected.

The Council is due to meet on Tuesday to discuss where
now to house the family, who have been in emergency accomodation since.
