The news was confirmed this evening by Deputy Michael Lowry.

No administrative staff are being retained in the Tipperary Town
Regional Office with the exception of two on a short term basis.

It is expected that these 2 staff will provide a greatly scaled back service
for six months, before the office closes fully.

The move will have huge implications on local farmers as the office
manages over 7,500 herd numbers across the region.
