16 million euro announced for Fethard – Burncourt water treatment plant.

Over 16 million euro is set to be invested in the Burncourt
and Fethard Water Treatment plant in South Tipp.

The long awaited announcement comes following years of
problems plaguing customers on the line and appeals
from homeowners to have the problems rectified.

South Tipp County Council is now in the process of inviting
tenders for the construction of the project.

The announcement has been welcomed by South Tipp
Fine Gael Deputy Tom Hayes.
