Toulon president refutes doping allegations

Reports in the French press suggested that his players had been in receipt of banned substances from pharmacists. 

Prosecutors in Marseille confirmed they have been investigating a number of pharmacies in Toulon, but in relation to what they call a “non-compliance to the code of public health for the supply of drugs”.

Boudjellal claims the investigation is into health insurance and social security fraud involving a pharmacist the club severed ties with a year ago. 

Toulon recently added Ireland captain Paul O'Connell to their star-studded squad.
