Tipperary’s footballers have bowed out of the 2017 championship, following a tight battle against Armagh last evening.

Tipp were leading 10 points to 8 at half time, and Michael Quinlivan found the net early in the second half to see Tipperary lead by 4 points at that stage.

Armagh worked their way back, however, and momentum swung in favour of the Orchard-men, who replied with a point and a goal, leaving the Premier too much to do in injury time.

The final score was 1-17 to 1-15, and Tipp captain Brian Fox says Tipp were disappointed with the outcome.
