Tipperary were pushed close, but held on to win the Allianz Football League Division 4 Final against the Banner County by 1-16 to 1-15 at Croke Park.
Tipperary's goalscorer was Ballyporeen's Conor Sweeney, who was also man-of-the-match.

Peter Creedon's men went in at half-time with a narrow 1-07 to 0-09 lead.
Clare then got their own goal in the second half, with a fine finish by Martin O' Leary, and they briefly took the lead.
However, Tipperary came back and held on, with captain Paddy Codd lifting the Division 4 trophy.
